Call for Papers: Pedagogic value of video for learning & lecture recording

This North West held Video and Lecture Capture learning event will be hosted by The Centre for Innovation in Education of the University of Liverpool. We look forward to welcoming you in to Liverpool to discuss and consider the following themes around the pedagogic value of video learning and lecture recording:

  • Value of lecture recording
  • Attendance impact on lecture recording
  • Video for assessment
  • Video within flexible spaces
  • Flipped approach (video pre or post lectures/seminars)

  • Call for proposals closes 9th December 2019
  • Abstracts reviewed and presenters notified 13th December 2019
  • General Registrations close (unless capacity is reached sooner) 8th January 2020
  • Event 9th January 2020

Submission Details

We’re keen to hear from those looking to present on any of the themes above and are open to different formats of presentations. Examples include:

  • Presentations (1 hour or 30 minutes)
  • Workshops (1 hour)
  • Live streamed presentations
  • Pre-recorded video presentations
  • Lightening talks/case studies (10-15 minutes)
  • Poster presentations
  • Video Presentations (5 minutes that can be played during breaks)

All submissions should address one of the above themes. Collaboration and remote speakers are encouraged.
